Weekly Meeting
Ready to dive into the Newtown Rotary experience?
The Newtown Rotary Club meets on a weekly basis with the first three Wednesdays of the month followed by a Camaraderie for a Cause event the fourth Thursday. Details as follows:
Lunch Meetings
- Schedule: First, Second & Third Wednesdays every month, 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm
- Location: American Legion Post 440, 41 Linden Ave., Newtown, PA
- Details: Buffet lunch catered by Joe Garvey served for $16, including beverages.
Camaraderie for a Cause
- Schedule: Fourth Thursday of every month, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Location: Various locations in our community - Please check the calendar here.
- Details: $10 cover charge donation collected for the featured nonprofit organization.

Let me begin with one of my favorite Paul Harris quotes:

I can't think of a quote that better reflects the Rotary Club of Newtown. We are a club built on friendship, fellowship, and service. While making a difference in our community is at the heart of what we do, it is the relationships we build, the support we share, and the joy of serving together that make our club so special.
Rotary is more than a service organization—it is a place to belong. We bring together people who care about their community, value meaningful connections, and want to make a positive impact. We laugh together, serve together, and celebrate together, creating lasting friendships while improving the lives of others.
What makes our club shine is its unique blend of wisdom, experience, and fresh perspectives. Our veteran Rotarians provide a strong foundation of leadership and mentorship, while newer and/or younger members bring new ideas, energy, and enthusiasm.

The Newtown Rotary Club offers students meaningful opportunities through Interact, leadership programs, youth exchange, speech contests, scholarships, mentoring, and Rotaract. These experiences help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form lasting connections. By putting “Service Above Self” into action, students make a positive difference in our community and beyond.
